Synopsis

Nakamachi Asuka is a high school teacher but a sudden setback results in her quitting her job. She instead becomes the live-in matron of a dormitory where the inhabitants happen to be the seven members of an unsuccessful boy group called “8LOOM”. There, she is also reacquainted with her former student Sagami Dan, who happens to be the leader of the boy band. Despite the boy group’s lack of success, Sagami Dan is dedicated to the group, and his role as group leader. In addition to Dan, the group members include the youngest but most mature, Naruse Daijiro; the eldest, Furumachi Yukiya; the firm but negative thinking Ichinose Eiji; the sweet free-spirited Hiyama Ryusei; the seemingly cool Kurushima Takumi; and the caring Onodera Takara. Each of the members have their own distinct personalities and traits.

As she undertakes her duties which involve taking care of the cooking, cleaning and laundry, she observes each of the members in pursuit of their dream, which in turn helps her towards facing her frustrations and regaining the passion she once had as a teacher.
