Navigating Love and Connections: A Modern Romance Story
Three Friends, One Unexpected Journey

Graduates of Senshu University and longtime yacht companions Ryo Hidaka, Katsumi Yamashita, and Teruya Toda maintained their friendship even after settling into ordinary professional lives. They continued to gather at their senior Yosuke Tanba’s marine restaurant, keeping their bond alive.

Meanwhile, three event companions from Yokohama – Akiko Watanabe, Emi Sakamoto, and Misa Nakamura – spent their weekends searching for eligible bachelors at local cafe bars. Determined to enhance their social prospects, they devised a plan to infiltrate an exclusive singles party for lawyers by presenting themselves as upper-class Yokohama socialites.
At this gathering, they unexpectedly encountered Hidaka and his friends, who were similarly misrepresenting themselves as legal professionals. As their relationships developed, the web of white lies became increasingly difficult to maintain. Gradually, they began to recognize and appreciate each other’s authentic selves, leading to a transformative connection that would culminate on a pivotal Christmas Eve.
