Synopsis

Season 24. (First episode is a 2 hour special that starts from 8PM on 3rd July 2024.)

The mystery drama centers on Sakaki Mariko, a forensic scientist at the Kyoto Prefectural Police Crime Lab, and highlights the work of researchers who use their expertise in forensic medicine, physics, chemistry, and document analysis in order to uncover the truth behind various cases. The story also depicts how Mariko passes on her passion to the next generation, including her younger colleagues who will confront the cases alongside her and the young guests involved in the incidents.
