Synopsis

The private Kikurei Academy High School was no exception to the mounting problems plaguing educational institutions. Into this troubled educational environment appears Endo Issei (24), hired as a part-time instructor supposedly to reduce the burden on existing teachers. However, rather than fulfilling his duties, Endo proves to be anything but a conventional educator. His daily antics include arriving at school soaking wet after morning river rafting sessions, conducting classes that consist entirely of enthusiastic lectures about his favorite topic – the Battle of Sekigahara folding screen paintings, dragging students out of other classes to go mushroom hunting for maitake, converting the science room’s human anatomy model into boxing practice equipment, and displaying a complete inability to read social situations despite his handsome appearance.

This unconventional “pretty face only teacher” adheres strictly to his personal philosophy of “total concentration on what you love,” making him not only useless in the eyes of other faculty members but also a constant source of problems through his inappropriate comments and actions that ignore proper time, place, and occasion.

Grade supervisor Kametaka Chisato finds herself constantly dealing with the chaos he creates. While colleagues, students, and parents alike mock him as the “pretty face only teacher,” Endo remains completely unbothered, treating the school as his personal wonderland where he maximizes every spare moment to indulge in his hobbies and interests.
