Synopsis

Young business executive Date Hisahiko (Handa Kento) visits the Kamogawa Restaurant, where he meets the establishment’s poster girl Kamogawa Koishi (Kutsuna Shioli) and her father Kamogawa Ryu (Hagiwara Kenichi). Date is served exquisite Kyoto cuisine – the restaurant’s signature “omakase” dishes that even regular customer Tae (Iwashita Shima) praises enthusiastically. Date had been drawn to the restaurant by a single-line advertisement in a magazine that read “We search for memorable meals.” Guided to what appears to be a detective agency, Date begins recounting his memories of a special nikujaga dish, following his vague recollections. Koishi sets out to investigate while Ryu heads to Hiroshima to pursue the case.
