Synopsis

Alexandre Léger is the founder of a world-renowned red wine guide and an authority on wine studies. He passes away aged 60, at his home in Tokyo. He has one daughter, Camille, but hadn’t seen her ever since his divorce when she was just nine years old.

Camille travels to Tokyo after hearing about her father’s death. There she receives news of his will. In his will, he stipulates that if Camille wants to inherit his vast collection of wine, she has to compete in a wine tasting competition against Toomine Issei, a young and brilliant wine critic who happened to be Alexandre’s apprentice. 

The first two episodes of Drops of God start streaming on Apple TV on April 21st, followed by one episode dropping weekly every Friday.
Will be followed up by distribution on Hulu in September 2023.
