Kaidanshita no Gogh

Synopsis

Kaburagi Miyako is a 30-year old career woman who works at a major cosmetics manufacturer. One day she becomes inspired by a painting and sets her sights on applying to the Tokyo University of Arts in order to realize her dream of becoming a painter. As she recklessly struggles to balance her vocation as an artist with her current job, she enrols at an art prep school, where she meets an extraordinary talented young man six years her junior. Miyako is astonished by the disparity in talent and by his work in a world which is significantly different to hers, but is surprised to learn he is currently a student in the process of his sixth attempt at entering the same university?!
