Synopsis

In this volatile environment, Kotone must navigate life alongside an extraordinary cast of fellow prisoners: a secretive political secretary with hidden agendas, a former delinquent single mother convicted of killing her husband, a woman who made a career of marrying elderly men for inheritance money, a plastic surgery nurse who underwent full-body cosmetic procedures, the facility’s oldest inmate who killed her husband during elderly care struggles, and a pathological liar imprisoned for repeated dine-and-dash incidents.

 

Can the refined geisha survive among these intensely individualistic – perhaps overly eccentric – women who each bring their own explosive personalities and criminal backgrounds to the prison community?
