Synopsis

This romantic comedy follows the personal growth and emotional rebirth of Yamagishi Ayumi, a woman who loses sight of herself by always putting her boyfriend first, and Ebihara Katsuo, a man stuck in the old-fashioned belief that “cooking is a woman’s job.” Ayumi and Katsuo have been dating since college and have grown comfortable living together, seemingly in a steady relationship – until they break up right after Katsuo’s proposal. As they reconnect through the act of cooking, they begin to question the assumptions they once took for granted.
