Synopsis

In this world, countless bizarre troubles seem like lies, but happened. “Sued for charging my phone at a cafe!” “Sued for receiving too much change at a convenience store!” While these may seem like trivial matters at first glance, behind even the smallest troubles lies someone’s precious daily life. This drama depicts the lives of people who come to local lawyers (town attorneys) with such problems, the social issues lurking beneath the surface, and the human relationships involved.

Facing these troubles are two unlikely partners: Ishida Shoko, a paralegal who graduated from Tokyo University but failed the bar exam four times and is now on the edge of a cliff, and Haneoka Yoshio, a high school graduate lawyer who passed both the preliminary bar exam and bar exam on his first try. Though seemingly opposites, these two kindred spirits tackle various legal troubles while confronting their complexes and growing as individuals. This original screenplay depicts their journey in a comedic manner
