Synopsis
Makoto is former high school delinquent who hangs out in his Tokyo neighborhood of Ikebukuro, a district well-known for delinquency and gang activities.
While investigating the death of a friend, Makoto develops a reputation as a no-police problem-solver. Though against his better judgement, he goes up against police and local underground forces in an effort to help troubled friends and neighbors. He is aided by best friends Masa, another former delinquent, Takashi, gang leader of the G-Boys, and new friends made along the way.
Tensions erupt in the Ikebukuro underworld, and Makoto struggles to find the truth behind his friend’s murder.
