Synopsis

The story explores Japan’s growing litigation culture and the oversaturation of lawyers. The protagonist, Uzaki Ryo (Mamiya Shotaro), is a reckless yet justice-driven rookie attorney. After losing his father in an accident five years ago, he left his corporate job to pursue a legal career. Though he finally passed the bar exam after much struggle, he failed every law firm interview and had to make ends meet with part-time jobs.

One day, by a twist of fate, he lands a position at Peace Law Office. Believing he has finally become a full-fledged lawyer, Uzaki is in for a shock—the firm doesn’t wait for clients to come to them. Instead, its team of rogue attorneys actively seeks out potential disputes, stirring up lawsuits wherever there’s a spark of conflict.
