Synopsis

Based on the Korean webtoon “Dog-Like Romance” this story follows three individuals who meet through a dog. As they navigate conflicts and challenges together, they gradually discover and learn about love.
 
Kiyohara Kaya plays the protagonist, Hanamura Aiko. Aiko is a brilliant attorney specializing in divorce litigation. While typically cool and perfectionist in her approach, she also shows warmth by empathetically engaging with clients struggling through marital difficulties. Despite handling her professional life flawlessly, Aiko has become disillusioned with romance and love after growing up with parents in a troubled relationship, making her something of a “complicated woman.” In her personal life, she dotes on her recently adopted dog Sakura and thoroughly enjoys her single lifestyle.
 
Narita Ryo will play the role of Shirosaki Kai, a veterinarian who meets Aiko through her beloved dog. He is the young director of a 24 hour veterinary clinic and owns a beloved dog called Shogun who was first brought to the hospital as a stray.
 
One day, Kai encounters Aiko walking her dog Sakura while he is out with his dog Shogun, and remarkably, their pets fall in love at first sight! This chance meeting sets significant changes in motion for both of their destinies! Furthermore, Shogun harbors a major secret from before he became a stray dog!?
