Synopsis

Based on the life of Isomura Haruko, this asadora centers around Tachibana Rin, a young girl growing up in Fukushima in 1890. She lives with her paternal grandparents, her parents, and her younger sister. She also has a fiance that her parents arranged for her. At Tohoku Girl’s School, she meets her first love and begins questioning her current way of life. She eventually enters the school despite her father’s objections and ends her engagement to live life on her own terms.
