Synopsis

Tsutsumi Shinichi portrays Gotetsu Fumito, a brilliant astrophysicist with exceptional intellect and knowledge. While serving as an associate professor at a university researching black holes, he has isolated himself from others, finding meaning in life only through discovering challenging problems and deriving their solutions. One day, Gotetsu visits a practice session of the wheelchair rugby team Blaze Bulls, where his cousin Hino Masami serves as head coach. There, he encounters a struggling team that hasn’t won a match in three years, where players constantly argue and the atmosphere seems far from victory. However, Gotetsu is delighted. Despite knowing nothing about the rules, he declares he will lead the team to become the best in Japan. Through genuine confrontations with the players and learning about the personal wounds each carries, he begins to face his own difficult challenges.
