Synopsis

In the story, Kimura Takuya plays Kanzaki Jiro, who was a second driver for a European F3000 racing team. However, he is dismissed from the team due to some trouble. Despite this setback, Jiro refuses to give up on his dream and returns to Japan after five years to visit his former team’s manager, Ichinose Chinsaku (played by Izumiya Shigeru).

Upon returning, he finds that his father, Kanzaki Takeshi, has left his teaching job to open a children’s care facility called “Kaze no Oka Home.” There, Jiro meets his sister, Chihiro, childcare worker Mizukoshi Tomomi (played by Koyuki), and Torii Motoichiro (played by Sakai Masato), cook Ushikubo Eiko (played by Takashima Reiko), and twelve children with various backgrounds. Despite his initial confusion, Jiro approaches the children with a pure and innocent heart, gradually connecting with them deeply.
