Synopsis

“Even after you die, your smartphone and PC live on… We will delete (=dele) your inconvenient records.”

The protagonists, Sakagami Keiji and Mashiba Yutaro, work in a unique profession: they secretly erase all inconvenient digital records left behind after their clients’ deaths. However, each time they attempt to complete a mission, they become entangled in various problems, forcing them to unravel their clients’ life stories and hidden truths.

“Dele” explores the unprecedented concept of “digital remains” – the first Japanese drama to tackle this extremely relevant topic. In today’s world, where personal details are thoroughly recorded on digital devices, many people have likely wondered: “If I suddenly die, how should I handle data that I don’t want anyone to see?” Building on this universal concern, “Dele” creates diverse human dramas in a case-by-case episodic format.
