Synopsis

Set on the front lines of emergency medicine, where every second can mean the difference between life and death, this intense medical drama follows a group of young professionals driven by a shared desire to save lives. They come from a variety of different fields; emergency physicians, paramedics, and police officers, but are united by a passionate sense of justice and a determination to protect others in their own imperfect ways.
However, standing in their way are harsh realities: deeply rooted social issues such as workplace harassment, abuse, and undocumented foreign workers, along with unfair laws, broken social systems, and organizations that prioritize avoiding responsibility over doing what is right.
Torn between their ideals and the realities they face, these young heroes rise up to pass forward the baton of life, growing stronger with every challenge they overcome.

Imada portrays Haruki Haruka, an emergency physician working in the Emergency and Critical Care Department at Yokohama Wangan Hospital, who has vowed never to give up on saving any life.
