Synopsis

Kiyo, newly appointed as a lady-in-waiting to the Asano household, is about to perform on the koto for the first time before Lord Asano Takuminokami. Accompanying her on drums is an unfamiliar retainer, Jurorozaemon. Though this was a reunion with a childhood friend, at this moment, Kiyo’s destiny took a dramatic turn.

 

A forbidden love between different social classes – the lord’s favorite and his retainer. Despite initially trying to withdraw from the relationship, Kiyo pushes against surrounding opposition and stakes everything on this love.
