Stay tuned! A new live action drama has been announced, which features an original story set 10 years after the ending of the live-action movies. No cast have yet been announced.
Based on a manga by Suetsugu Yuki, Chihayafuru” follows high school students dedicated to competitive karuta card games, centering around the protagonist Chihaya Ayase. The film series saw releases of “Part 1” and “Part 2” in 2016, followed by “Part 3: The Final” in 2018. The upcoming series features an original story about modern-day high school students pursuing competitive karuta.
