Synopsis

In their second year of high school, soccer club members Nishino, Kubota, and Oyama are reading a typical youth sports manga.

“Guys like this don’t exist!” “The person who drew this has never been in a club activity!” laugh Nishino and Oyama, who spend most of their time thinking about how to skip practice.

Watching them, soccer-loving Kubota can only hold his head in frustration. “S-some people take club activities seriously,” he protests.

“Listen, people who do club activities in real life only think about ‘how to skip practice,'” they reply.

“Ah, I wish it would rain tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after that too.”

Kubota dreams of changing their mindsets and transforming the club to aim for national victory! Or at the very least, making it past the first round of competition!! Will Kubota’s earnest wish come true? Can he successfully change Nishino and Oyama’s attitudes? With just two months until the district tournament…!

This “club activities” comedy portrays ordinary real-life club boys contrasted with sparkling youth manga characters. Three members of “King & Prince” take on dual roles, portraying both sides of this story!!

What’s the purpose of participating in club activities? —This show may or may not answer that question.
