Synopsis

The story is set at “Dandelion Farm,” a rehabilitation facility on a hill with a view of the sea. It helps boys and girls who have just been released from juvenile detention reintegrate into society. The farm also provides shelter for children facing a range of issues such as bullying, self-harm, drug addiction, and social withdrawal. The farm’s director, Kitayama Shuji (Watanabe Ikkei), faces the cold judgment of the local community and struggles to be understood by his daughter Yuri (Yazawa Shin), who helps him with the farm. Through farming, he aims to help the children find their way back into society. He himself, however, bears deep emotional scars.

The story begins when a boy named Sakuragi Tsubasa (Sakakibara Tetsuji) arrives at Dandelion Farm. The cheerful and outgoing heroine, Sawaguchi Haruka (Hirose Alice), is the next captain of her high school basketball team and is loved by everyone at school and around town. But her world is turned upside down when her mother, whom she trusted, has an affair, and her father, a city councilman whom she respected, intensifies efforts to shut down Dandelion Farm. On top of that, Haruka faces unexpected bullying at school, pushing her to the edge. Ironically, the person who becomes her emotional support is Tsubasa, who had cut ties with his own family and was also lost. As time passes, Haruka and Tsubasa begin to develop feelings for each other…
