Synopsis

After April 2020, with the repeated state of emergencies in Japan, women in the seedy services (snack bars, cabaret) industry start finding themselves out on the street. During quarantine, there’s a boom in online shopping. Home delivery and transportation businesses were forced to carry a large amount of goods, and small to medium-sized transportation companies started offering home delivery services. Yamazaki Ako (29), a cabaret actress living in Amagasaki, Hyogo, has gotten through her life with her quick wit and fast mouth, but her life drastically changes due to COVID, and she loses her job. She is a single mother to her 10 year old daughter and she quickly changes her job to support herself and daughter by becoming a home delivery driver.
