Synopsis

Nased on a historical novel by Takada Kaoru, is a series that portrays ordinary people using their ingenuity to succeed in business during difficult economic times, weaving in the diverse customs of the mid-Edo period. In the latest installment, protagonist Sachi and others venture into opening a branch in Edo to make their kimono shop, Isuzuya, a 100-year business. Koshiba continues in the role of Sachi, while Matsumoto Leo reprises his role as Tomouzo, Sachi’s husband and the sixth-generation owner of Isuzuya.
