Synopsis

Follows a year after the events from Season 1. The fireworks festival, which had been repeatedly canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, was finally held last year with great anticipation. This occasion sparked a renewed enthusiasm for work for Mochizuki Seitaro, who is a fireworks artisan. However, currently, he leads a reclusive life in his own room, and Mochizuki Fireworks Store remains temporarily closed. Meanwhile, Mizumori Hikari, who works as an apprentice living on-site is diligently working part-time at another store, and through this, she once again realizes the splendors of the techniques at Mochizuki Fireworks, and admonishes Seitaro. Around the same time, the ghost of Mochizuki Kou appears for the first time in a while. Witnessing Seitaro’s lack of motivation firsthand, he angrily suggests shutting down the store, but upon hearing this Seitaro becomes aware of his true feelings, and suddenly asks Hikari for marriage advice..? At that moment, a mysterious woman named Noguchi Fumika suddenly appears. Surprisingly, she not only expresses her desire to become Seitaro’s apprentice but also unexpectedly proposes marriage right there and then..?!
