Sasaki Yuuko (Adachi Yumi), a temporary employee at a call center, struggles with her home loan and the education costs for her son, who has a natural talent for piano. Although she tries to be frugal, her husband Yoshimitsu (Aoki Munetaka), a former musician with little income, remains optimistic, saying, “We’ll manage somehow.” This family encounters an accident and is presented with a tempting offer—but lurking behind it is a dangerous, cunning figure.
