Synopsis

The film depicts the story of a family who run a Bishu wool textile factory.

Shiori, who lives in Aichi Prefecture, has a developmental disability. While she is cheerful and friendly to everyone, she also has strong preferences about her routines and struggles with many things. Shiori’s older sister, a fashion designer, had been running her own brand in Tokyo. However, she hit a dead end and decided to return to her hometown. Their father is struggling to keep his textiles factory afloat. Despite the financial difficulties, he is determined to honor his late wife’s promise and continues to work hard to support his daughters. One day, Shiori, on the suggestion of her best friend, decides to submit her designs to a fashion show in Ichinomiya City. Her sister is torn between wanting to support Shiori and feeling unable to fully encourage her, while her father is strongly opposed to it, concerned that she get hurt.
