Asami was startled after calling her boyfriend to instead hear the voice of a man she didn’t recognize coming through the phone. It turned out to be someone who had discovered her boyfriend’s phone after he left it behind. Asami was relieved that her boyfriend’s lost smartphone was safely returned, but from that day on, her life took a dramatic turn. Unexpected credit card charges she doesn’t recognize, persistently contacted by acquaintances she wasn’t particularly close to… These incidents made Asami suspect that her personal information had been leaked from her boyfriend’s smartphone.

A couple of months have passed since the serial murder case. A new dead body is found in the same area. Detective Manabu Kagaya tries to find the truth. He goes to see serial killer Yoshiharu Urano in prison.
