Synopsis

The protagonist, Sakaki Mariko, is a forensic scientist at the Kyoto Prefectural Police’s Forensic Research Institute. Driven by the belief that “science doesn’t lie,” she relentlessly pursues the truth. Together with her quirky and unique colleagues, she uses her expertise in forensic medicine, chemistry, physics, document analysis, and cutting-edge technology to unravel the mysteries behind numerous cases.
