Synopsis

With his impactful smile and liberal actions, young politician Seike Ichiro has gained popularity, often touted as a candidate for future Prime Minister. Supporting him is the capable private secretary Suzuki Toshiya. Both of them seem flawless in every way. “But, these two… something seems off.”

In an attempt to uncover the strange relationship between these two, journalist Michiue Kanae delves into their hidden past, discovering that several suspicious fatal accidents occurred during Seike’s rise through the political ranks. Those accidents seemed to be the work of someone connected to Seike but new facts and individuals keep emerging one after another. And it leads back to the sudden death of Michiue’s father, who had died in an accident…
