Synopsis

Oouchi Miho is a 20 year-old woman whose home lies in the tiny village of Tomarimura where she lives with her grandparents on a farm where they grow organic crops. Miho, whose Mother died young and whose Father abandoned her when she was 7, hopes to leave Tomarimura for the brighter prospects of Tokyo, but she just can’t seem to land a job there. Although Miho loves Tomarimura, it’s what is known as a Genkai Shuraku – a marginal village where most of the inhabitants are elderly. But when her Grandfather dies suddenly, Miho impulsively says she’ll stay and try to work the family’s field. But as an amateur, she’ll find the going rough.
