Synopsis

25-year-old Suwano Ryota (Tamamori Yuta), a first-year medical intern at a university hospital, excels at reading the situation and people’s moods at each of the departments he trains at. His father died from an illness and his mother remarried when he was 11 years old. Even though Ryota’s stepfather doted on him, Ryota would always study his expression to avoid getting on the wrong side and found it suffocating. He believes this experience shaped his personality. Despite being lacking in knowledge and techniques and also unsure about his aptitude as a doctor, Ryota does his best by deciphering patients’ medical records and exercising his special skill so that they open up to him. He grows as a doctor under the guidance of his instructor and friendly rivalry with fellow interns while sincerely engaging patients and unravelling the mysteries of their hearts.
