Synopsis

The heart of this story revolves around two kings. Fujiwara Tatsuya plays Akiba, a free spirit who keeps his distance from “the power of money” and “ownership,” seeking to discover new values. Kagawa Teruyuki portrays Etchu, the representative of a fund company who straightforwardly pursues an insatiable desire for money, possessions, and women. Etchu provokes Akiba, plotting to make huge profits by orchestrating successive takeovers of Japan’s major corporations and leading mass media companies. The drama depicts the cunning psychological warfare between Akiba and Etchu, as well as their glory and downfall.
