Daibyouin Senkyo

Sakurai Sho stars as a police investigator who faces off against a mysterious armed group in masks that have infiltrated and occupied a hospital. Though currently on suspension due to an incident a year prior, he is a talented man of action with overwhelming deductive skills and a strong sense of justice, and he takes on the case in order to free the hostages, one of which includes his wife.

A year has passed since the harrowing airport hostage crisis, and now Musashi Saburo (Sakurai Sho) is thrown into his greatest challenge yet. During a live special covering the upcoming Tokyo gubernatorial election, a massive TV network is suddenly taken over by a heavily armed group calling themselves the “Ayakashi” – masked assailants wearing the faces of Japanese folklore demons.
 
With 500 hostages trapped inside—including Tokyo governor candidates, production staff, news anchors, actors, and even Musashi’s own family—the stakes couldn’t be higher. As the clock ticks down, Musashi teams up with new allies to take on the “Ayakashi” and uncover a sinister conspiracy like never before.
