Synopsis

A completely new and modern version of “Fune wo Amu” that is written from the perspective of new employee Kishiba Midori. When the magazine she is working as an editor for is discontinued, Midori is moved to the editing department for a dictionary. There she meets a whole host of people of different personalities, including the head of the editorial department Majime Mitsuya. Midori gradually becomes inspired by the perseverance and enthusiasm of the workers around her, who spent more than a decade working towards the creation of one dictionary. Gradually, she begins to understand the charm of working with words and becomes completely absorbed in her job as a dictionary compiler.
