Synopsis

Set in the Edo period, this heartwarming mystery drama follows Takahashi Asanosuke, the heir to a town magistrate who mediates civil disputes that fall outside the jurisdiction of higher authorities. While seemingly unreliable in daily life, Asanosuke possesses extraordinary deductive abilities. Together with his childhood friends – the handsome Seijirou and the strait-laced Kichigoro – he tackles various mysteries and disputes in their town.
