Synopsis

The Hanawa sisters all seem to have terrible luck with men, despite growing up with their incredibly popular-with-women father Daigo, and their devoted mother Sachiko). The most notorious is second sister Takemi, nicknamed “The Man Killer” due to her failed marriages and reputation as a troublemaker.

The story begins when Takemi returns to her family home with her three children after her third marriage falls apart. Her sisters – the unmarried eldest Fujiko, the marriage-hunting third sister Sakurako, and the perpetually single youngest sister Ume – strongly oppose her moving back in. They harshly criticize her as a “femme fatale” and “the family’s shame.”

Ignoring her sister’s harsh words, Takemi works as a temporary receptionist at Sakurako’s company. Soon after, she becomes embroiled in controversy when she stands up against workplace sexual harassment targeting her colleague.
