Synopsis

“Resident doctors are not real doctors yet!” Five rookie resident physicians arrive at the emergency medical center for a limited three-month training program. Having been doctors for only six months, they still lack the power to save lives. Patients are continuously brought in, and in the life-or-death emergency room where every second counts, these residents can only stand frozen and helpless, unable to do anything. Immature both as physicians and as human beings, will the day ever come when they can overcome adversity and proudly declare, “I am a doctor!”? Set in the harsh environment of emergency medicine, where failure immediately leads to patient death, their unforgiving training is about to begin – training where mistakes cannot be tolerated. This coming-of-age ensemble drama depicts the realistic growth journey of five young resident doctors as they struggle to prove themselves worthy of their calling.
