Synopsis

In the early Showa period, Kobashi Tsuneko was born in Enshu, Shizuoka, and was called “toto nee-chan” as she protected her mother and two younger sisters in place of her late father. Tsuneko, who lived by helping each other in an all-female family, established a publishing company in Tokyo after the war. She met the genius editor Hanayama Isaji, published a magazine for women, and took the era by storm. This is a story of a family that lived robustly through the Showa period, both before and after the war.
