Synopsis

In the winter of 2018, Kitazawa Shusaku was a man who loved his family dearly, yet had no authority over them because of it. After a fierce battle that resulted in losing his job for the sake of his family, his journey of self-discovery came to a temporary end. Then, in the summer of 2019, Shusaku’s status within the family had declined even further. He failed every interview for his dream job as a patissier. Meanwhile, the other family members each overcame their own adversities and obtained social status and economic stability equal to or better than before.

Under these circumstances, Hirofumi, who had gone to Los Angeles for medical training as a doctor, returns home. Having acquired new skills in “AI-driven medical technology” in LA and returning to Japan in triumph as an “AI genius surgeon,” Hirofumi proudly declares, “The future of humanity will be carried by AI! And of course, the future of the Kitazawa family too!” He brings “AI Kenji” and his younger sister “AI Sayuri” into the Kitazawa household, but…
