Synopsis

A drama set in a weekly manga magazine’s editorial department, where ordinary people become manga artists supported by their editors. These professionals dedicate themselves entirely to the dream of creating “a single manga.” They believe manga can change lives and want to achieve “juuhan shuttai” (reprint) – the coveted status of a successful manga requiring additional printing.

Kurosawa Kokoro (played by Kuroki Haru in her first leading drama role), enters this world as a rookie editor, declaring “This is the only place where I can feel truly passionate right now!” Her straightforward personality and natural instincts gradually influence those around her.

This supreme workplace human drama celebrates the moments when a dispassionate salesman discovers the beauty of genuine work, and when aspiring artists achieve their dreams through relentless dedication. It’s an inspiring story for all working people, filled with the passionate spirit of those who give their all to their profession.
