Synopsis

This work is a human home drama with an original screenplay by Hashibe, marking his first foray into a TV Asahi drama series.

 

The protagonist Shimizu Moeko, played by Koshiba, possesses a delicate “sense” that allows her to understand the feelings of objects typically considered to have no emotions, such as stuffed animals, stones, and plants. Because of this mysterious ability, she has lived her life avoiding contact with others as much as possible. However, due to a certain incident, she decides to step out of the narrow world where she had confined herself into the wider world. The story follows her growth as she accumulates various experiences. Furthermore, as Moeko begins to walk forward on her own feet, her “seemingly peaceful but fragmented family” is also affected, with each member confronting their true feelings and facing themselves honestly. This drama depicts not only Moeko’s journey but also the story of family restoration.
