Synopsis

Police officer Uehara Choko, who works in the Community Safety Division, encounters a fire scene while on patrol. She jumps into the flames to save a young girl trapped in the burning house, successfully rescuing her life, but succumbs to carbon monoxide poisoning and dies in the line of duty after failing to be resuscitated.

Becoming a ghost, Choko chooses to remain in this world because she’s worried about her unreliable son Tombo, who has just entered elementary school.

Three months later, Tombo gains the ability to see ghosts when he puts on Choko’s glasses, which were left as her memento. Thus begins the new life of Choko, who has become a Ghost Mama, and her son Tombo.
