Synopsis

In 1945, Siberia is in the grip of a bitter winter of 40 degrees below zero. Yamamoto Hatao (Ninomiya Kazunari), interned in a Siberian concentration camp on suspicion of espionage, endures with his fellow men on the hope that he will one day reunite with his wife, Mojimi (Kitagawa Keiko).
