Housewife Hanae (Nakamura Yurika) lives a seemingly happy life with her husband Hiroki (Sano Reo) and their four-year-old daughter Haruna. However, one major problem shadows their marriage. Hiroki’s grueling days at the bank and Hanae’s solo struggle through the demands of single-handed childcare have left the couple in a sexless relationship for five long years.
Haunted by the fear that her sex life may be over for good, Hanae one day summons her courage and makes advances toward her husband — only to be rejected.
Years of frustration come pouring out, but Hiroki responds with an unexpected proposal: “I love you, Hanae, but… why don’t you find an outlet elsewhere? For the sex, and for the loneliness too.”
