Osugiru Koi to Satsujin

The first title in the new lineup centers on Tanizaki Manami, a free-spirited detective in the Tokyo Metropolitan Police Department’s First Investigative Division. At any given time, she’s dating nearly 50 men – whom she affectionately calls “My Loves.” Despite her unconventional love life, Manami follows a strict personal code: no affairs with married partners, no relationships that hurt others, and absolutely no dating within the police force. Above all, she is determined to love each of her partners wholeheartedly.
 
But when the men she’s been involved with begin turning up dead one after another, her carefully balanced world is thrown into chaos. Joining forces with Soma, a junior detective who secretly harbors feelings for her, Manami sets out to uncover the truth behind the increasingly bizarre string of murders.

In the spin-off series “Too Many Loves, Murders, and Inner Monologues,” the hidden true feelings of the main characters – never revealed in the original story – are portrayed through their private inner thoughts.
