Synopsis

The original story is based on real events behind “Creating Erotic Novels in the Reiwa Era: The France Shoin Editorial Department’s Story” (Written by Sato Yūki, based on material from the France Shoin Editorial Department), a work inspired by the top publisher in the erotic fiction world, France Shoin. The result is a slightly risqué yet laugh-packed, unconventional workplace drama.
 
Oizumi Mashiro dreams of working in publishing and decides to change jobs to “France Publishing.” To her surprise, she’s assigned to the “Sensual Fiction Editorial Department.” When she nervously opens the door, she finds Editor-in-Chief Tamagawa Joji and the editorial team engaged in a heated debate about the title of a new book themed around “the person next door.” Mashiro is stunned by the unusual scene.
