Synopsis

This is the third season in this series, but knowledge of the previous seasons is not needed to watch this installment.
 
The story once again returns to Kuraya Harunobu, a prestigious Kyoto wagashi shop with 240 years of history.
Eight years have passed since Sawafuji Miyako left for Paris. Now a new heroine, Mikami Miyako, portrayed by Hoshi Moeka, arrives from distant Paris and sets foot in Kyoto. What is the great mission entrusted to her?

Kyoto is a city built on rules so complex and troublesome that outsiders can’t always comprehend them – centuries-old traditions; seasonal customs governing everything from food to clothing to daily life; and proud Kyotoites who are anything but straightforward.

How will Mikami Miyako grapple with this “mission” alongside Sawafuji Miyako?
