Synopsis

Tange Samanosuke (Moriyama Mirai), a one-eyed master swordsman serving the Soma clan, is secretly summoned by his lord, Daizenryo, (Maiguma Katsuya), who is obsessed with collecting ancient blades. His mission: to steal a pair of cursed swords known as Kenunmaru and Konryumaru, legendary twin blades passed down at the Onozuka Dojo in Edo.
Driven by unwavering loyalty, Samanosuke stakes his life on a deadly duel to raid the Onozuka Dojo. After a fierce battle, he succeeds in seizing the cursed blade Kenunmaru, but at the devastating cost of his right arm.

Saved from the brink of death by wanted fugitives O-Fuji (Kuroki Haru) and Yokichi (Kato Ryo), Samanosuke miraculously survives. Reborn as the one-eyed, one-armed swordsman Tange Sazen, he steps into a new destiny marked by vengeance and turmoil. Yet the moment Sazen takes possession of Kenunmaru, powerful foes rise to challenge him, and the conflict soon escalates into chaos that engulfs all of Edo.
