Synopsis

Hiroshige Utagawa, along with Hokusei Katsushika is widely recognized in the world of woodblock printing (ukiyo-e). However it was lesser known that he is also a firefighter constable who painted pictures while putting out fires in Edo. This drama depicts the untold story of Hiroshige, as he pursues his passion for painting using a paint called Berlin Blue (Bero-ai) and his wife, Kayo.
